Including Liability and Release Waiver
Adventure Tails YXE strives to provide a safe and enjoyable experience to all animals in their care. They also strive to keep all other parties affected by their services safe and secure, which includes, but is not limited to, their contractors, pet owners, other animals, and the general public. As the pet owner, I understand that my animal(s) may become sick or injured while in the care of Adventure Tails Pet services, and by agreeing to their services, I agree to the following statements:

State that I have given consent to Adventure Tails YXE to take and care for my animal(s) under previously agreed upon terms.

Understand that this consent for care also releases Adventure Tails YXE and it's employee(s) from any liabilities that may lead to injury to my animal(s) or damage to any property while Adventure Tails YXE is caring for my animal(s).

Agree to release and hold harmless Adventure Tails YXEs and it's contractor(s) from and against all claims and costs arising from the care of my animal(s), including but not limited to vet care, property damage, and legal fees.

State that I understand that Adventure Tails YXE will be providing care to my animal(s). Adventure Tails YXE agrees to provide reasonable care for my animal(s) and take all necessary precautions to protect my animal(s).

Understand that animals, by nature, are unpredictable. Due to this fact, I agree to let Adventure Tails YXE use their best judgement in regards to the nature of the care being provided to my animal(s), specifically in regards to the safety of my animal(s), the safety of other animals, the general public, and Adventure Tails YXE contractors.

Agree that Adventure Tails YXE, at the sole discretion of their contractor(s), may alter or refuse care services to myself or my animal(s) if they deem my animal(s) behavior to be a danger to themselves, other animals, the general public, or Adventure Tails YXE contractors. This includes but is not limited to:

High anxiety or fear from my animal(s)

Aggression towards other animals, Adventure Tails YXE contractor(s), or the general public​

An obvious condition where care being provided would compromise the health and safety of the animal(s)

Understand that this waiver is not exhaustive and release Adventure Tails YXE and their contractor(s) from any and all other liabilities that may arise during, or in relation to, care for my animal(s), including things known and unknown to me, that may not be included in this waiver.
I also hereby consent to allow Adventure Tails YXE unlimited use of any images or media collected during the care of my animal(s) as promotional material, so long as it does not directly compromise the identity or safety of myself, my family, or my property. This includes material used for advertising by means including, but not limited to, social media, radio or print media, or this website. I waive my rights to these images and media and any profits arising from their use.
By checking the box & submitting our intake form, you confirm that you have read, undertsand, and agree to these terms. If you have questions or concerns with any of the above statements, or do not agree to any of these terms, please speak directly to owner Adam prior to services being rendered.
Adventure Tails YXE & it's contractors assume we are being monitored at all times. We always strive to act well above reproach, but welcome feedback based on any viewed behavior. As it is a homeowners right to have monitoring devices, we generally do not ask, nor do you need to disclose, camera locations. However:
Security & Monitoring

We do ask if interior cameras are present when booking overnight stays. We may also ask their locations.

We have legal rights to a certain level of privacy while living in your home. You do not need to disclose the location of your cameras, but we may refuse the work should we not feel comfortable with that.

Should we find that you have misled us regarding camera locations, have not fully disclosed locations (if applicable), have cameras in illegal locations, or have installed units that can reasonably be deemed "hidden", we:

reserve the right to block or disable these devices.

reserve the right to leave the stay immediately.

reserve the right to involve law enforcement, if applicable.

Under federal law, you are not allowed to record audio of our private conversations without our consent, which we do not and will not give.​
Payment Terms
Adventure Tails YXE does not generally ask for pre-payment on services booked. We are also a small business. As such, we expect prompt payment once an invoice has been sent. That being said, we try to be flexible with our clients situations regarding payment and will work out other terms if needed. If you need accommodation, please be transparent upfront.

Invoices are sent after our services are rendered. Depending on your booking, and your service provider, this may be daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Your service provider will provide the specifics.

​ALL Sit & Stay clients booking 4 or more nights will be required to make a 50% deposit 1 (one) month prior to stay start, or during confirmation. This is refundable if the stay in cancelled in-line with our cancellation policy.

All NEW check-in clients booking 7 or more services are required to make a 50% deposit 1 (one) month prior to service, or during confirmation of booking. This is refundable if service is cancelled in-line with our cancellation policy.​​

Payment & deposit options will vary based on the invoice total. We currently accept cash, e-transfer, CC (PayPal), Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

We do not currently charge interest or fees on late payments.
Cancellation Policy
Adventure Tails YXE understands that life changes quickly, as does need for pet care support. We aim to be as understanding and flexible as possible regarding cancellations, while still protecting our staff's time.

Walks, Check-ins, Training, and Poop Pick-up require 24hr notice of cancellation.

Check-in bookings of 7 (seven) more visits require 1 (one) weeks notice of cancellation.

ALL Sit & Stay bookings require 2 (two) weeks notice of cancellation.

Failure to provide adequate notice of cancellation may result in lost deposits or charges up to the amount of the booked service.

These conditions are decided and upheld by the owner of Adventure Tails YXE and not your service provider.
